How to boost the drink's effectiveness?
Want to get the most out of Recovery Pro? Here are a few practical tips:
Recovery pro gives you 24 g, but if you are not eating a meal within a couple of hours, or the training session was really hard, add one more serving of protein. Your total daily intake should be 1.2–1.6 g/kg of body weight.
Recovery pro contains 30 g, which is a great base. If you are recovering between two efforts on the same day, add more carbohydrates (for example in the form of fruit, a bar or rice) and aim for about 1–1.2 g/kg/h for 3–4 hours.
Drink Recovery pro with enough water (at least 300 ml) and keep up your fluid intake afterwards. If you know how much weight you have lost through sweating, drink 1.5 times that amount in litres (for example 1.5 l per 1 kg lost). It will help you recover faster and get ready for your next effort.
